Tom Scannell (@tomscannell1) is a self-taught painter based in Norwich, originally from Lowestoft, UK. Working across still life, portraiture, and abstraction, his paintings are known for their bold colour, expressive brushwork, and raw, emotive quality. Drawing from everyday scenes and personal experience, Scannell creates visually striking works that feel both familiar and intimate, marked by a strong sense of immediacy.

He has held three solo exhibitions and shown work in group shows across East Anglia, as well as currently at Jealous Gallery in London. His distinctive visual language continues to attract a growing audience both locally and online.
